About Me

I’m a graphic designer and illustrator with a strong background in marketing and over 7 years of expertise in developing print and online media, marketing proposals, slide decks, infographics, and more.

Originally from Vancouver, Canada, I started my career in marketing and graphic design after graduating from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2010. I completed a joint major in marketing and media arts, which introduced me to visual design and interactive media. After five years as a marketing and design specialist for a consulting firm (ProActive Resolutions) and then a B2B manufacturer (Zaber Technologies), I decided to pursue a Master’s degree in International Business at Queen’s University in 2015. The experience greatly enriched my understanding of the consulting field and after completing my thesis project in 2017, I moved to Bellevue, Washington, and joined Fehr & Peers, one of the largest transportation consulting firms in the U.S., in a marketing and visual design role. Responsible for leading marketing proposals for the Pacific Northwest offices, I wrote and designed documents and marketing materials (e.g., slide decks, brochures, factsheets, etc.) that would be presented to public and private agencies in a bid to win transportation projects. In 2019, I took a temporary hiatus from work following the birth of my daughter. Up until the end of 2021, I undertook contract/freelance work as a graphic designer. In 2022, I rejoined Fehr & Peers as a visual designer.
